Every twelve (12) minutes a woman dies from breast cancer.
Every three (3) minutes there is a new diagnoses of breast cancer.
Seventy-five percent (75%) of all breast cancer occurs in women with no known risk factors.
Breast cancer is the #1 killer of women between the ages of 35 and 54.
In 1999 alone, we lost another 43,300 women to breast cancer.
This year 1,500 men will get breast cancer—400 men will die.
Although African-American and Hispanic women have lower incidence of breast cancer, their death rates are higher.
